Due to the large number of car riders, backed up traffic and some car accidents, Bartlett Police has decided and the school has agrees to move a portion of the line on Oak onto Deerfield. In other words after the line reaches Deerfield it will turn and not continue down Oak. This is for the safety of parents waiting for their turn in line and cars driving down Oak. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we implement this new traffic pattern. As always, dismissal will begin promptly at 3 and end by 3:15.

Every month or so, I will sit with you and discuss topics related to education that are relevant to Oak families. During this time, you will have a face to face chance to discuss what is important to you and how we can all work together to keep our community one of the best in the district and state. The dates, times and topics vary in order to accommodate different schedules and interests. If you have ideas for additional topics, please let me know.

Oak Elementary has been named a state reward school for the 2nd year in a row. This is especially exciting to us, since it is harder to maintain the status every year. Our teachers are the best, and they deserve this recognition! The Reward School Status places us among the top schools in the state for improving overall student academic achievement and student growth for all students and student subgroups!

Instructional materials and supplies purchased with this fee are to be consumable supplies used directly by students. These materials and supplies will supplement the district’s provided curriculum.

The Oak Elementary School Cross Country Team has been having a lot of fun preparing for our upcoming season this fall.

If you are a Third, Fourth, and Fifth Graders at Oak Elementary School and are interested in joining the team, please contact Mrs. Harris or Mrs. Samuelson as soon as possible. Team registration will be closing soon.

Cross Country Team Sign Ups are now available online.

NOTE: All registered athletes will need to have a current sports physical on file with the team BEFORE being entered into any of the meets.
